Field Evaluation - Keith Dunlap
Pro Ears has led the world in electronic hearing
protection/amplification products since its inception,
continually raising the bar in technology. Their Pro
Ears lead the industry in performance so when I was asked to
evaluate another product from this company, now an Altus
Brands company, I was eager to get my hands on it to put it to
the test. Read

Take The Evil Out of Carrying a Gun
I have had the CrossFire Sling
for about a month and have mainly used three different
positions. While all positions work well I especially like the
double shoulder style for carrying my gun a long distance.
This position takes the constant shifting from shoulder to
shoulder out of play and is quite comfortable. For active
shooting I really like the front carry position where I can
just pull up and shoot. And the third is for carrying my
crossbow. It sure beats the heck out of trying to carry it in
my arms all day. While some look at slings as just a
necessary evil...I say take the evil out of carrying a gun
easier with the proper carrying location and the CrossFire
Sling does just that.

Ready to Shoot - Very Quickly
One of the problems we hunters have experienced is how to
carry our bows, crossbows, rifles, shotguns, or muzzleloaders
into the field. I’m sure you’ve all done as I have
and just sling it over my shoulder and go. As you all
know this sure isn’t very comfortable especially when
walking a good while.
I have tried a few different slings from the backpack type to
the shoulder type, but none that I felt good about. Plus I
really didn’t care for the rubber in them.
Well, I have received a product that solves all those problems
for me. It has over 10 positions for my bow and over 20
positions for long guns. The CrossFire Extreme Sling keeps
your hands free, stays on your shoulder, can split the load
with two shoulder carry, can be used in a backpack position
and used on the front where you can go right from carry to
shooting in one fluid motion. It has many other positions that
allow me to go right from carrying my bow on my side or back
to shoot-ready very quickly.
The nice thing with this sling is an educational DVD which
aids you in learning to use the sling. It is really a very
useful item to add to all hunters’ equipment lists.

Not that we agree with all this

bad - you make the choice.

A Concerned Hunter
Below are some hunting accidents that I found
that could have been avoided by using The Crossfire Sling .
This site is an anti-hunting site, (Why we need to cut down on
these accidents) but has up to date accidents. A couple are
from pulling firearm up incorrectly into stands and dropping a
weapon from a tree stand I hope these stories help your
customers make the decision to buy your great sling

A Friend of mine brought over an article from a magazine. I
did try to find the crossfire sling on line. But at that time
I did not know the name was crossfire. I put in searches for
bow sling, bow carrier, and things like that but crossfire
never came up. I was using //yahoo search engine and even some
others. So I called my Friend and asked for the name of the
sling. Then I found you on line. I was shooting with your
sling in the shooting position yesterday. I really like its
versatility. The only complaint is that when you put it in the
shooting position the easy releases are right in the middle of
your back and a little uncomfortable. If you could figure some
type of design to fix that it would be great. I also noticed
that the straps are a little thick where they attach to the
bow. If they where a little smaller they probable would not
rub on the riser finish as much and the quick release from the
bow would work smoother. All in all its a great sling for the
money. You do need to get the word out to a larger market.

Innovation and
Versatility
CrossFire Sling is another great product from Altus Brands
that offers a tremendous amount of versatility and options in
carrying your rifle, shotgun and bow in the outdoors. We
have had our hands on a couple of these slings for the past
couple of months and we have enjoyed being able to test these
out. I really like the Front and Ready two shoulder and
the Backpack positions. When you first get this sling,
it seems a bit complicated but actually the system is pretty
simple. Every sling comes with a DVD and I suggest you
watch the DVD and come up with your favorite positions to
carry your weapon into the field. At the price of $19.95
you really cannot go wrong with these slings and once you
spend some time using them you will be placing it on all your
rifles and bows.
